Job summary

Winn-Dixie is seeking a Deli Associate to support daily bakery department operations and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. You will promote product quality, freshness, and value while ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining shelf availability, answering questions, offering samples, handling special orders, and upholding safety and sanitation standards in accordance with USDA/COOL and store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Operate deli equipment (e.g., slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines.
