Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Fresh Cuts Associate to support the Line Leader on the production line, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area while efficiently completing packing or processing tasks.

The role requires observant teamwork, proactive issue identification, and communication of potential improvements. The position involves refrigeration environments, on‑the‑job training, and no mandatory prior experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• 6+ months in a food production, warehouse, or general labor role (preferred).
• Basic understanding of production or packing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned packing or processing tasks on the production line.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Assist Line Leader in preparing and transitioning the line between shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Identify quality or safety concerns and report to Line Leader.
• Assist in moving materials and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain accurate records or labels when required.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and cooperate with team initiatives.
