Job summary

Wholesale Produce Supply, LLC is seeking a Fresh Cut Production Associate to clean, slice, sort, inspect, and package fresh produce in a refrigerated environment. The role supports the production line, ensuring products are prepared for shipment with strict adherence to food safety and GMPs.

Flexibility for schedule and overtime is available. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced setting, maintains attention to detail, and follows all SOPs to uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Must be able to distinguish colors accurately for grading and sorting.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Grade, classify, clean, slice, trim, sort, and package produce according to size, weight, color, and quality specs.
• Place produce into bags, trays, or other packaging for shipment.
• Inspect products and remove defective items (bruise, scar, etc.).
• Compare products against charts or samples to ensure quality adherence.
• Notify supervisors of production or quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
