Safeway is part of Albertsons Companies Inc. and seeks a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk to work hands-on with fruits and vegetables. You will slice, dice, and package produce, check freshness, and maintain clean prep areas while supporting attractive displays for customers.

You will also aid inventory, restocking, and customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. If you take pride in food quality and helping shoppers, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce prep preferred.
• Comfortable using knives and prep tools with safety and precision.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety guidelines.
• Friendly and helpful attitude with clear customer communication.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willing to support fellow associates and contribute to store culture.
