Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk to hands-on with fresh fruits and vegetables, slicing, dicing, and packaging produce to perfection.

You will check freshness, maintain clean prep areas, and create attractive displays for customers, while supporting inventory, restocking and service in a fast-paced team environment. You should bring food prep experience, knife skills, freshness standards, and a customer-friendly attitude.

Qualifications

• Food prep experience in grocery, food service, or produce prep preferred.
• Knife skills and safety awareness when handling prep tools.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety guidelines.
• Friendly, helpful attitude for assisting customers and communicating clearly.
• Able to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to a clean, sanitary and organized workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
