Safeway, operated by Albertsons Companies Inc., is seeking a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk. You will be hands-on with fresh fruits and vegetables—slicing, dicing, and packaging produce to perfection; checking freshness and maintaining organized prep areas; and creating appealing displays for customers.

The role involves inventory assistance, restocking, and delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexibility and a pride in food quality are valued.

Qualifications

• Food prep experience in grocery, food service, or produce prep preferred.
• Knife skills and safety awareness for handling prep tools.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety guidelines.
• Friendly and helpful attitude to assist customers and communicate clearly.
• Capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
