Job summary

Fowler Packing Company in Fresno, California, is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to manage QA and control systems for our fresh citrus lines. You will communicate with customers to set expectations and provide daily quality reports to the management team.

The role requires 2–4 years of supervisory or lead inspector experience in a fresh produce packing house, knowledge of GMP/HACCP, and the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Familiarity with automated sorting equipment and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coordinate schedules for Quality Assurance Inspectors on fresh citrus lines.
• Enforce strict fruit grading to meet customer specifications.
• Oversee testing of fruit quality (brix, acid ratios, rind, size, color sorting).
• Maintain GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance around machinery and forklift traffic.
• Generate daily quality records and report trends to production managers.
