Job summary

Fusion Academy is seeking a French teacher for grades 5–12 in a fully accredited 1-to-1 private setting. You will design creative lessons, tailor content for individual learners, and collaborate with passionate colleagues to personalize education—academically, socially, and emotionally.

You’ll mentor students, maintain records, and engage families while using technology and innovative tools. This role emphasizes growth, adaptability, and ongoing professional development in a dynamic school

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree(s) or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach French courses, levels 1 - 5, following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience with diverse learners, including those with learning differences or mental health needs.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and thriving in a student-centered environment.
• Strong tech skills and openness to new tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Growth mindset with flexibility to pivot and problem-solve.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening.
