Job summary

TELUS Digital seeks an Online Data Analyst to perform structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets, verifying and validating geographic information using GIS tools and reference materials.

You will cross-reference entries across sources, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide feedback to improve mapping algorithms. This fully remote contractor role supports flexible scheduling across time zones, with Canada's regional focus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French (native or near-native)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and cross-reference complex business, geographic, and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sources
• Perform root-cause analysis when spatial data points conflict across sources, documenting the discrepancy with precise reasoning
• Apply detailed evaluation frameworks with consistency and rigor across dozens of geographic, business, and cultural data variations
• Be open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)
• Provide structured feedback that helps refine mapping algorithms and improve geographic intelligence
