You will supervise a 10-person team, onboard new staff, schedule shifts, and monitor costs while ensuring top-notch service during opening hours, weekends and holidays.

The role offers a base salary between $65,000 and $70,000 per year plus tips, monthly incentives, paid training, and benefits after 3 months, including health insurance and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math.
• Work experience as a Cafe/coffee shop manager.
• Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Be reliable, honest and punctual.
• Hospitality or food service experience.
• High school diploma.
• Additional certification (e.g. Business Admin or Hospitality) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and bid farewell to customers.
• Enhance sales by recommending French cuisines and sweets.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe with about 10 employees.
• Onboard new wait staff and baristas.
• Train staff on drinks preparation and customer service.
• Understand labor cost percentage and schedule accordingly.
• Do weekly inventory and maintain supplies.
• Ensure shop areas are clean and tidy.
• Advise staff on resolving issues with clients and delivering excellent customer service.
• Nurture relationships with customers to boost loyalty.
