Job summary

XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead all aspects of freight operations at our site in Pennsylvania. You will develop procedures, supervise hourly staff, manage workloads, and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery while enforcing FMCSR, OSHA, DOT policies.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in a warehouse or distribution environment, knowledge of LTL and DOT rules, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Knowledge of LTL, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet department needs
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks
• Supervise hourly staff and be primary contact for workplace concerns
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and lower costs
• Enforce FMCSR, OSHA, CCMTA, NSC and DOT policies and laws
• Coach and develop employees on safety rules and quality requirements
