Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Hurst, TX is seeking a part-time Freight Coordinator to support daily store operations. You will handle receiving daily shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom upkeep, and routine store cleanliness, ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

Ideal candidates are able to work a flexible schedule, manage shipment paperwork, and assist on floor projects as needed. No prior experience required and a focus on guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods while handling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Prepare and send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check transfers processed through the register and match items being shipped.
• Fold items and place in appropriate boxes for proper presentation when unpacked.
• Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in; apply Sensormatic tags.
• Hang and fold merchandise for the sales floor and steam when necessary.
• Maintain all shipment-related paperwork and organize backroom materials.
• Develop knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software and use it effectively.
• Maintain daily work files and organization; report policy violations.
