Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support store operations, receiving and unpacking shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance, and routine cleaning. The role emphasizes accurate freight processing, tagging, and presentation for guests and transfers between stores.

Requires ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain organized paperwork, with focus on safety, security, and policy adherence while delivering high-quality service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: Verify merchandise invoices to items received; send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx; check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips; ensure transfers match what you are shipping; package items properly for presentation when shipping to Guests or other stores.
• Visual Merchandise Management: Remove pins and plastic from shipped merchandise; place Sensormatic tags; hang and fold merchandise for the floor and steam when needed; assist on floor projects.
• Operations: Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, day-after-Thanksgiving/Christmas; learn POS software; receive freight boxes and store transfers; report discrepancies; maintain shipment paperwork; monitor security risks; create FedEx labels; process recalls and RTVs weekly; keep supplies stocked and organized; organize fixtures and shelving; keep work area neat; communicate policy violations to managers; provide feedback on merchandise handling; follow Buckle policies; contribute to customer service and team spirit; handle special projects as assigned.
