Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Freight Specialist in Grand Junction. You will schedule inbound/outbound deliveries, coordinate trucking with drivers, and manage fleet maintenance and safety compliance.

Proficiency with RFN and TIS systems helps optimize routes and records. The role requires a HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or two years of equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver safety is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound/outbound deliveries and trucking arrangements.
• Coordinate with location staff for freight needs and routes.
• Maintain company truck fleet, maintenance records, and inspections.
• Ensure DOT/OSHA compliance and safety performance.
• Maintain shipping profiles, contracts, and driver records.
