Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Freight and Logistics Advisory to advise public and private clients on freight, port, and logistics strategy. You will lead studies, market assessments, and implementation roadmaps across a growing advisory practice in the Economics, Finance, & Grants line.

This role suits mid- to senior-level professionals with port, maritime, intermodal, or freight infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (see required qualifications).
• 10+ years of experience in port, maritime, logistics, supply chain, intermodal, or related goods-movement environments.
• Experience with port authorities, terminal operators, ocean carriers, railroads, logistics providers, shippers, or public agencies.
• Ability to lead studies, plans, market assessments, investment strategies, or implementation efforts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Advise public- and private-sector clients on freight, port, logistics, infrastructure, and supply chain strategies.
• Lead and support studies, market assessments, strategic plans, feasibility analyses, and implementation roadmaps.
• Help clients evaluate operational needs, market conditions, infrastructure constraints, funding opportunities, and investment tradeoffs.
• Develop client, partner, and industry relationships while supporting new advisory opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
