Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a part-time Freight Coordinator in Murfreesboro, TN to support receiving daily shipments, shipping merchandise, and backroom upkeep. You will work with store management to ensure efficient operations and guest-focused service, including packing, labeling, and inventory tasks.

Key duties include coordinating FedEx shipments, maintaining paperwork, and upselling positive guest experiences while upholding Buckle policies and standards.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received.
• Send any alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that transfers match what you are shipping out.
• When shipping items to Guests and other stores, fold items and box properly.
• Place Sensormatic tags on each garment.
• Hang and fold merchandise for the sales floor.
• Steam garments when necessary.
• Assist on floor projects.
• Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Develop knowledge of POS software.
• Receive freight boxes and store transfers.
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork.
• Keep supplies in stock and organized.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Communicate policy violations to Store Manager and HR in a timely, confidential manner.
• Provide feedback to managers regarding merchandise handling concerns.
