Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Freight Coordinator in a Missouri store. This part-time role supports receiving, shipping, backroom maintenance and routine cleaning while upholding our mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

You will handle invoicing checks, packing slips, packing and labeling, and POS-related tasks, with emphasis on accuracy, organization and guest service. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against received shipments to ensure accuracy.
• Process alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Ensure transfers match what is being shipped out and logged.
• Prepare appropriate sized boxes for shipment and proper presentation.
• Tag merchandise with Sensormatic tags and prepare on the sales floor.
• Hang, fold and steam merchandise; assist on on-floor projects.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software.
• Receive freight boxes and store transfers through the register.
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork and records.
• Monitor for security risks and theft; respond accordingly.
• Create FedEx labels and sort by transit time for shipments.
• Submit Returns to Vendors (RTVs) weekly.
• Keep supplies stocked and organized (boxes, bags, paper, etc.).
• Organize fixtures and shelving; keep work area neat and orderly.
• Report policy violations to Store Manager / HR promptly.
• Provide feedback on merchandise handling to managers.
• Follow Buckle's Code of Ethics and company policies.
• Perform duties with high level of customer service; support teamwork.
• Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
