Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring Warehouse Freight Handlers - Palletizers in Kenosha, WI. Starting pay is $20.52/hour with a $1 shift premium, plus incentives and bonuses. You will remove pallets from trailers, break down product for correct pallet configuration, and handle inbound freight by item code with attention to pallet integrity.

No prior experience required; will train. Must be 18+, flexible for holidays and weekends, and able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down product for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets and account for pallet integrity.
• Ensure damaged product is not received into warehouse inventory.

Warehouse Freight Handlers - Palletizers

Distribution Center Address:10901 38th St., Kenosha

Pay:Starting at $20.52/hour(Includes $1 Shift Premium)

• Plus,anyperformance incentives, bonuses, etc.

Work Schedule:

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
  • 2nd Shift - 2:00 PM-until Finish (shifts vary based on work volume)
  • 3rd Shift - 10:00 PM-until approximately 6AM (shifts vary based on work volume)

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As afreight handler, you'll support our team bysafely removing pallets of product from the trailer and breaking down the product for the correct pallet configuration.You will alsoseparate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets, ensure that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into the warehouse for sale inventory, and account for the structural integrity of pallets.There's no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
