Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Dallas is seeking a Freight Forwarder Export to ensure timely and efficient export of goods by air and ocean, handling documentation and carrier coordination.

You will manage customs paperwork, track shipments, and maintain strong customer relationships while collaborating with internal teams to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred.
• Experience in air and ocean exports is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate exports by ocean, including carrier booking and movement of goods.
• Coordinate exports by air, including scheduling with airlines and movement of goods.
• Prepare required documentation for customs clearance, including invoices, packing lists and bills of lading.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers on status.
• Manage relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade laws.
• All other duties as assigned.

A Freight Forwarder Export is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient exportation of goods by air and ocean, including all necessary documentation, scheduling, and communication with customers and third‑party service providers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to manage relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned

Educational background / Work experience

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in air and ocean exports is highly desirable

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates

For this position, the expected base pay range is $21.53 – $26.91 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
