Saia is hiring for full-time/part-time dock/yard roles. You will load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks, verify shipments, and maintain safety and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, and English fluency. Preferred candidates may have forklift certification or hazmat training and prior warehouse experience. The role requires standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and varied schedules including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Preferred: forklift certification or hazmat training.
• Experience with warehouse/dock operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Secure freight and verify shipments by reading labels and proper securing.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and report shortages/damages.
• Log and process any shortages and damages to freight.
