Qualifications

• Previous dispatching or logistics experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred, but not required.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of freight.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal team members.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delays or issues that arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records through data entry and proper management of logistics documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and organize shipment and logistics information.
• Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving logistical challenges as they occur.
• Maintain professional phone etiquette and effectively utilize phone systems.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support overall daily dispatch and logistics operations.
