Job summary

MANTECH International Corporation in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an experienced Freight Coordinator to support mission-focused logistics. You will analyze and coordinate ongoing logistics functions, manage schedules, and track freight milestones in a movement control center.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, generating technical reports, and ensuring SOP compliance for maritime logistics. A Public Trust clearance is required. Multiple seniority levels available based on qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience.
  • Ability to draft Technical Reports and follow established SOPs for maritime logistics and freight coordination.
  • Proficient in using logistics management databases and collaborative SharePoint environments.

Job description

MANTECH s eeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Freight Coordinators to join our team in Oahu Hawaii.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Analyzes and coordinates the ongoing logistical functions of the organization to ensure mission success.
  • Analyze product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Leads the implementation of logistics solutions and coordinates with Mission Partners to ensure resource availability throughout the distribution lifecycle.
  • Maintain daily coordination logs and track the status of freight milestones for theaterwide movement initiatives within the movement control center (MCC).
  • Assist in developing schedules that align delivery goals with current operational realities.
  • Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
  • Prepare reports on mission progress and cargo status to ensure all stakeholders are informed of operational constraints.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

Senior Level

  • Proficient in using logistics management databases and collaborative SharePoint environments.
Midlevel
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Ability to draft Technical Reports and follow established SOPs for maritime logistics and freight coordination.
  • Proficient in using logistics management databases and collaborative SharePoint environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of position-relevant experience.
  • Foundational training in joint logistics or maritime transportation management.
  • Familiarity with USSOCOM logistics policies and Host Nation husbanding requirements in the PACOM area of responsibility.
Clearance Required:
  • Must hold an active Public Trust clearance
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
