Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Transportation, logistics, or supply chain coursework is a plus
• 1-3 years of dispatching, transportation, logistics, or freight coordination experience preferred
• Experience with TMS preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive assignments
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Schedule, dispatch, and monitor drivers for inbound and outbound freight deliveries
• Plan efficient transportation routes to support on-time performance
• Adjust schedules and routing plans to address delays and service issues
• Coordinate load preparation and shipping activities with warehouse teams
• Track freight movements and provide shipment updates to customers and internal departments
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding routes, schedules, and load information
• Communicate service concerns proactively and implement solutions
• Build strong working relationships with drivers, carriers, vendors, and customers
• Enter and maintain dispatch records, load details, and status updates within company systems
• Support daily transportation, logistics, and freight operations
