Freight Coordinator / Logistics Coordinator

We are hiring a Freight Coordinator / Logistics Coordinator to oversee primarily domestic freight operations with limited international shipments (about 5%).

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and schedule domestic freight, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
• Manage limited international shipments with required customs documentation
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, verifying secure loads and correct paperwork
• Track shipments in real time, resolving delays or damages quickly
• Load/unload trucks, manage small parcel shipping, and maintain accountability
• Build relationships with carriers, negotiate freight rates, and approve invoices
• Collaborate with project managers, installers, and service technicians for smooth operations

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred
• 5+ years of experience in freight coordination, warehouse logistics, or as a shipping coordinator
• Forklift certification with hands-on forklift experience required
• Prior trade show or event logistics experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Team-oriented, solutions-focused, and dependable

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional weekends required)
