The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Freight Coordinator in Houston, TX to manage receiving and unpacking daily shipments, shipping merchandise, and backroom maintenance.
The role supports store management and aims to uphold Buckle’s mission of delivering the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. Responsibilities include verifying invoices, coordinating FedEx shipments, maintaining shipment records, and assisting with transfers.
Freight Coordinator position’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, "to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests." Additionally, the Freight Coordinator performs a variety of operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g., receiving and unpacking of daily shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance, and routine cleaning of facilities).
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.

Vacation time is earned on a progressive schedule based on your role and years of service, starting at 80 or 120 hours; sick time is 40 hours per year, prorated for partial year, with carryover up to 80 hours. Paid leave accrues where required by law; one hour of leave is accrued for every 30 hours worked.

No prior experience or training.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Requires standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing and jumping, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking or hearing. Occasionally required to sit. Must lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom. Vision required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly works in a retail store setting. Noise level is moderate.
