Job summary

Hugo's Family Marketplace is seeking a Freight Clerk to help unload deliveries, stock shelves, and keep the stockroom organized. You will ensure shipments are accurate and products are readily available for customers while following safety procedures in a fast-paced overnight/early-morning environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks safely and efficiently.

• Rotate inventory and ensure older products are stocked first when required.
• Maintain clean and organized shelves and storage areas.
• Remove empty boxes, packaging, and debris from the sales floor and stockroom.
• Follow safety procedures while handling merchandise and equipment.
• Assist customers with locating products when needed as well as assisting the courtesy team with carry outs when needed.
