Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Freight Agent at Reinsfelder Inc. The Freight Agent will be responsible for coordinating and managing freight transportation services, negotiating rates with carriers, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight brokerage or a related field such as logistics or transportation sales is preferred.
• An active, established book of business with verifiable shipping customers
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience with freight management software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
