Job summary

GEODIS in the United States is seeking a Transportation Analyst to support the Transportation Operations team with analytics, profitability assessments, report development, and freight optimization studies.

You will develop and maintain internal and external metrics, benchmark accounts, and provide timely updates on project statuses, while collaborating across departments to drive cost and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field from a 4 year college or university.
• 1–3 years of experience with analysis and reporting; or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Experience with TMS systems.
• Experience benchmarking accounts and generating non-standard KPI’s relevant to account.
• Knowledge of transportation industry KPI’s for cost and service.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drives the operational excellence spirit by constantly working towards the most efficient, repeatable and scalable processes and solutions that are delivered in a timely and quality manner
• Supports development, setup and maintenance of internal and external metrics and KPI’s
• Adheres to a standard schedule to produces metrics and meet deliverable dates
• Establishes effective cross-departmental working relationships
• Provides timely and accurate communication of project statuses
