Job summary
Fortune Fish & Gourmet in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Warehouse Associate I (Freezer) to supervise freezer inventory and stock in a 0° or colder climate, ensuring product freshness. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing goods to meet delivery schedules, while upholding safety and sanitation standards.
The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related food production experience (seafood preferred).
Qualifications
- Basic English speaking is required.
- Experience with arithmetic and accurate counting is needed.
- A sense of urgency and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead in managing the department's requirements.
- Receive perishable goods and ensure quality standards.
- Pick lists in the freezer for shipping preparation.
- Participate in quality control and ensure accurate packing.
- Pack and ship orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility.
- Perform monthly cycle counts.
- Rotate stock to keep inventory fresh.
- Move product with forklift as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in operations.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
