Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Chicago, IL is seeking a Stocker - Freezer to join our freezer department. The role involves stocking, shelving, and keeping cold areas clean and safe, while adhering to HACCP standards.

You will assist in inventory reviews to prevent shrinkage and coordinate with forklift operators to maintain a stocked selling floor. The position is full/part-time, hourly, with 8–10 hour shifts and union benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires prompt, courteous customer service
• Stocking and shelving experience helpful
• Ability to follow HACCP regulations
• Able to inspect inventory and rotate stock daily
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in cold environments

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service
• Stock shelves by moving boxes from pallets and opening boxes
• Front-face and organize items on shelves
• Perform HACCP-related inspections
• Review inventory for rotation to prevent shrinkage
• Ensure shelf pricing is accurate and reflects current prices
• Keep warehouse clean and safe, handle spills promptly
• Coordinate with Hi-Lo operators to keep floor stocked and safe
• Report low stock or out-of-stock items to supervisors
