Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Stocker - Freezer to support the Freezer department with prompt customer service and accurate stocking. The role involves handling cold storage, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safe operations in a union environment.

The position offers hourly pay with 8-10 hour shifts and opportunities in a large wholesale warehouse network across the United States.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service.
• Stock products on shelves and re-stock as needed.
• Organize and front-face items on shelves.
• Follow HACCP regulations.
• Assist inventory reviews to prevent shrinkage.
• Maintain correct shelf pricing.
• Keep warehouse clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs the proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing.
• Follows program to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.
• Continuously reviews status of department floors for safety hazards.
• Prompts and safely handles spills and removes trash from floor.
