Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Freezer Shipping Clerk to verify and keep records of outgoing shipments. You will use strong attention to detail to ensure accurate records and on-time distribution from our cold environment.

The role offers $18 per hour with a freezer differential, dayshift hours from Sunday to Wednesday, and location at 4875 N Susquehanna Trail. Training is provided, with weekly pay and a broad benefits package from day one.

Qualifications

• Attendance and a GED or high school diploma required.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
• Record shipping data including weight, charges, space, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with establishment representatives to resolve issues.
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weights and shapes.

As a Freezer Shipping Clerk, you’ll become a part of this mission by helping to verify & keep records of outgoing shipments. You’ll make a difference by utilizing your strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills to get the job done.

Job Description

• Earn $18 per hour (Plus freezer differential!)
• Dayshift - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5:30am-done
• Location - 4875 N Susquehanna Trail

You will contribute by:

• Preparing documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products
• Recording shipping data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes
• Conferring and corresponding with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damage and non-conformance to specifications
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Cold Dock (Refrigerated) – about 10°- 30°

• At least six months of warehouse experience
• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Strong planning and execution skills
• Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results
• Strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with people at all levels in the organization
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
