Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a GSF subsidiary, seeks a Freezer Selector for our Hawaii (Oahu) operation to move, pick, and load in a multi-temperature warehouse.

This full-time, on-site role features a 4-day schedule (4PM–2:30AM), temp range -5 to 38 °F, and union benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential. Experience with RF scanners and handheld devices is preferred. Company uniforms and boots are provided.

Freezer Selector – Hawaii (Oahu)

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Role You’ll:

All Associates:

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF Scanners, Vo Collect Headset, and Warehouse Management System) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Loader Specific:

• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely
• Secure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentation
• Assist dock operations including staging and organizing shipments

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Use (Vo Collect headset) to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You’ll Bring

All Associates:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

Schedule & Setting:

• Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler, and freezer: -5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 4-day work week, with shifts typically being 4PM – 2:30AM; weekend and holiday availability required
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

* The expected range for this position is $25.38-$26.38/hour (For Hourly, Non-Exempt Roles) Location, confirmed job-related skills, education, experience, and relevant training will be considered in setting the actual starting salary.
