Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Miami, FL is seeking a Repack Associate to help keep our communities fed. You will repack salvageable items, manage damaged shipments, and support a clean, safe work environment with adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Managing the proper processing of damaged and returned product.
• Receiving over-shipments and damaged product from customers and the warehouse to repack salvageable items.
• Stacking unsellable product on a pallet, shrink wrapping and loading for shipment to another facility.
• Maintaining records of returned products from inbound trailers.
• Keeping work area clean and sanitary by sweeping, mopping and organizing product.
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weights and heights.
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

• Earn $18 per hour
• 1st Shift (Sun - Thurs 6AM - 2:30PM)
• 3300 NW 123rd St. Miami, FL

You will contribute by:

• Managing the proper processing of damaged and returned product
• Receiving over-shipments and damaged product from customers and the warehouse to repack what is salvageable
• Stacking product that cannot be sold to the customers on a pallet, shrink wrapping and loading on a trailer to be shipped to another facility
• Maintaining record of returned products from inbound trailers
• Keeping work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
