Job summary

La Bodega is seeking a warehouse order selector to fulfill customer orders by locating, picking, stacking, scanning, and staging items in dedicated lanes across a fast-paced distribution center.

You will work in a refrigerated environment, handle pallets, and meet productivity goals while maintaining safety and accurate order accuracy. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and prior RF scanner/JACK operator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to select/pick orders for clients.
• Experience in a food handling environment with varying climates.
• Ability to operate the electric pallet jack.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Diligent and punctual.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated food handling environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders by locating, picking, stacking, scanning, wrapping and staging items.
• Ensure correct quantity and product types meet productivity standards.
• Work within three main product departments: freezer, produce, and dry area.
• Safely operate equipment like the electric pallet jack.
• Maintain safety, quality standards and safe work practices.
• Report malfunctions and keep equipment in good condition.
• Perform other duties as needed to support operations.
