Hanover Foods Corporation near State College, Pennsylvania is currently seeking Entry Level Freezer Workers or experienced operators on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Responsible for freezing product and monitoring the freezer equipment. Operates under close supervision and is responsible for seeing that the product is run at the highest possible volume with little or no over-temperature product.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Makes consistent checks on the equipment recording all pertinent data.
• Makes consistent checks on product and its' temperature.
• Reports any changes in recording equipment or the product and its temperature to the Supervisor.
• Defrosts equipment when necessary or when specified by the Supervisor.
• Keeps area clean and neat in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
• Constantly attempts to learn all possible information so as to qualify for the position of Freezer Operator B.
• Adheres to common safety practices and procedures.
• Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
