Job summary

brownsfoodservice is seeking a Night Shift Damage Control Clerk for the Freezer Warehouse Operations. The role focuses on identifying and documenting damaged product, salvaging when possible, and disposing of others to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce loss during night hours.

You will operate in sub-zero temperatures, utilize RF scanning, and record findings while communicating with supervisors. This position supports audits, weight checks, and backfill duties to ensure efficient warehouse

• Basic understanding of warehouse inventory processes or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and ability to work night shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Identify and document all damaged product within the freezer during the night shift.
• Scan damaged inventory using RF technology and accurately record findings.
• Determine whether damaged product is salvageable or requires disposal.
• Correct inventory issues related to damaged or mis-slotted product.
• Repackage salvageable product and return to correct pick slot; stage damaged product for review.
• Remove inventoried product from warehouse floors to prevent damage or safety issues.
• Maintain bin integrity and support freezer housekeeping and safety.
