Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $16.00/hr – $23.00/hr

Overview

Sam’s Club’s freezer, cooler and deli team keeps shelves stocked and ensures sanitary conditions. In the deli department, front‑line customer service plays a key role in delivering a great shopping experience. Join a team that offers customers quality products at great value.

What You’ll Do

• Keep product quality high and available for members.
• Sweep, clean, and maintain temperature control in freezers, coolers and deli areas.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in appropriate containers and display fixtures.
• Dispose of lower‑quality food and maintain a sanitized, member‑ready area.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain safety of the facility, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
• Follow forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, steel standard, and company safety guidelines.
• Manage the sales floor, merchandise presentation, claims, returns, zoning, stocking, and price‑setting.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting purchases, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
• Comply with food‑handling policies, cold‑chain procedures, equipment repair, and sanitation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete required training and assessments within a prescribed time.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with stocking and customer service, a passion for member satisfaction, problem‑solving skills, adaptability, curiosity, and creativity are preferred.
