Position Summary: Sam’s Club values fresh food and our dedicated fresh food associates. As a member of the freezer, cooler, and deli team, you will keep shelves stocked, ensure safe and sanitary conditions for our freezers and coolers, and provide front-line customer service in the deli department. Your role supports the operations that keep products ready and enhances the overall shopping experience for our members.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards and conducting safety sweeps.
• Operate forklift spotting procedures and handle hazardous materials per company guidelines.
• Follow food handling policies and Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise.
• Ensure the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area is clean, organized, and compliant with company policies.
• Assist members by acknowledging them, locating merchandise, providing deli products, and resolving issues.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers, display stock, and maintain temperature control, verifying expiration dates and disposing of lower‑quality food.
• Keep shelves clean, maintain sanitized areas, and keep temperature regulators and drains operational.
• Complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
• Apply inspections such as setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays while securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete all job‑required training and assessments within the prescribed time period.

• Relevant experience in stocking, refrigeration, or deli operations.

Wage and Compensation

• Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00 (minimum wage for the job location).
