Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Join our freezer, cooler, and deli team and keep the shelves stocked while playing a vital role in the operations and sanitary conditions of our freezers and coolers that keep our product ready for our members. In the deli department, you’ll provide front‑line customer service, ensuring a smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

Base Pay Range

$16.00/hr – $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety in the facility by following all safety standards and procedures, performing safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling of hazardous materials, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.


• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation, and securing fragile/high‑shrinking goods.


• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying their needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing deli products; resolving issues; and promoting company products and services.


• Follow company policies related to the freezer/cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following cold‑chain procedures when stocking merchandise; cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitoring fans, drains, and doors for proper operation; and reporting issues to management.


• Ensure high‑quality products are handled and available for members; keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food.


• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and sales displays.


• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
