Freestanding Emergency Room RN - Panama City, FL

Location: Panama City, FL

Salary: $26.40−39.60 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
401(k) Match: 100% on 3-9% of pay

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Freestanding Emergency Room (FSED) Registered Nurses to join our high-acuity emergency setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage diverse emergency cases. You will work in a fast-paced standalone ER, treating patients across all levels of emergency care.

Available Shifts:

• Nights (Rotating Weekends)

• Mixed (Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume FSED setting.
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients across all acuity levels.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and emergency care teams.
• Prioritize care and respond rapidly to life-threatening situations.
• Educate patients and families on follow-up care and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital standards.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent acute care ER RN experience (within the last year).
• Active RN license in Florida or multistate compact eligibility.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of hire.
