Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking passionate individuals for the role of Freeride Team Coach at Powder Mountain. The role involves mentoring young skiers and snowboarders while ensuring a safe and energetic environment.

As a coach, you will guide athletes in mastering skills and participate in competitions. Candidates should have previous ski industry experience, valid coaching certifications, and a desire to work with youth. Enjoy working outdoors in beautiful conditions while teaching our guests the joy of freeride sports.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine desire to work with children and teenagers.
• Ability to pass a background check is required.
• Must be able to perform physical activities lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute seasonal training programs designed by the Head Coach.
• Lead groups through technical drills and line selection.
• Attend coach training sessions to stay updated on freeride trends.

Skills

Previous experience as ski or snowboard instructor

Ability to maintain guest safety

Experience in coaching for IFSA events

Ability to confidently ski or ride all terrain

Strong communication skills

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid IFSA L100 or 200 certification

Current PSIA-AASI certification (Level 1 or higher)
