Job summary

La DoubleJ is seeking a Freelance Visual Merchandiser to support our U.S. retail program. You will collaborate with our Milan VM team to ensure premium product presentation and a cohesive brand identity in-store.

The role requires travel to stores, execution of seasonal concepts, and close coordination with store teams and HQ. This flexible freelance position offers exposure to luxury fashion and dynamic retail environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in visual merchandising, preferably in fashion or luxury.
• Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and flexible in dynamic retail environments.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint; additional design/reporting tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of seasonal VM strategies in line with brand guidelines.
• Implement visual concepts in-store according to HQ instructions and timelines.
• Collaborate with the Milan VM department to maintain visual consistency.
• Create detailed photo reports following store visits.
• Offer support to store teams, aligning with global VM direction.
• VM for trunk shows, pop up and seasonal stores activations and events.
• Available to travel.

We’re currently looking for a Freelance Visual Merchandiser to support our Visual Merchandising team in executing our brand’s creative vision across retail spaces in the U.S.

This freelance role is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Milan-based VM team, ensuring consistency, premium product presentation, and a strong brand identity in-store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of seasonal VM strategies in line with brand guidelines
• Implement visual concepts in-store according to HQ instructions and timelines
• Collaborate with the Milan VM department and merchandising team to maintain visual consistency
• Create detailed photo reports following store visits
• Offer support to store teams when needed, ensuring alignment with global VM direction
