I’m looking for an experienced freelance content creator/video editor to help me create consistent lifestyle content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.. This would be a flexible, part-time freelance role not a full-time position. You must have prior experience creating and editing social media content. I’m looking for someone who is creative, very tech-savvy, understands current social media trends and algorithms, and can edit content quickly and efficiently.. A lot of my content will focus on lifestyle, mom life, GRWMs, “come with me” videos, day-in-the-life content, voiceovers, fashion/beauty, and everyday moments.. Some weeks, I’ll film the content myself and will just need you to edit and piece everything together. Other times, I’d like you to meet with me in person to help film, brainstorm ideas, plan content, and bring different concepts to life.. I’m looking for someone who can:

• Edit approximately 3–4 videos per week.
• Have proven experience editing content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other social platforms.
• Create smooth transitions and trendy, professional-looking edits.
• Clip longer footage into engaging short-form content.
• Help with GRWM, lifestyle, mom, fashion/beauty, and “come with me” style videos.
• Help film content when needed.
• Help record and edit voiceovers so they flow naturally.
• Understand hooks, pacing, trending sounds, captions, transitions, and what keeps viewers engaged.
• Stay up to date with TikTok, Instagram, and social media trends and algorithm changes.
• Help brainstorm content ideas and plan what to film.
• Occasionally meet with me in person to film, brainstorm, and create content together.
• Be comfortable giving creative input and helping me develop my personal brand.
• Be very tech-savvy and comfortable using editing apps, social media platforms, cameras, phones, and other content creation tools.
• Be reliable, organized, flexible, and able to turn around edits quickly.
• Be experienced, confident, and able to work independently without needing to be taught basic editing or content creation.

I’m really looking for someone who can become my go-to creative person almost a mix between a content assistant, videographer, and editor. I want someone I can bounce ideas off of, show my creative process to, brainstorm with, and eventually be able to send raw footage to and trust that they’ll know how to turn it into content that fits my style and personal brand.. This would start as a freelance/as-needed position with approximately 3–4 videos per week, with the opportunity for more work as my content grows..

Compensation: $20–$30/hour depending on experience and the type of work needed. For editing-only projects, I’m also open to agreeing on a flat rate per video..

Experience is required.

Location: Must be based in New York City and available to meet in person when needed. Staten Island-based applicants are a plus.
