Job summary

Fox Nation is seeking a dynamic, experienced freelance long-form Producer to craft compelling true crime content for the FOX audience. You will research, write, and field-shoot, handling archival rights and collaborating with multiple departments.

The role requires excellent writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment, with willingness to travel and mentor others in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and storytelling, with ability to proof, fact-check
• Experience with long-form or documentary-style production
• Willingness to travel and conduct interviews in field
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Research stories and write scripts for true crime content
• Shoot in the field and obtain archival video and rights clearances
• Coordinate with legal, finance, graphics, and PR teams
• Book guests and conduct on/off-camera interviews
• Collaborate with field crews and editors to finalize programs
• Develop compelling narratives for 15–60 minute formats
