Job summary

Funded.club is seeking a Senior Freelance Startup Recruiter to manage multiple early-stage searches across global ventures. You will own sourcing, outreach, screening, and candidate management for 3–9 startups, delivering weekly updates, and operating independently within our plug-and-play process while working remotely in your time zone.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recruiting in startup environments (pre-seed to Series C strongly preferred).
• Experience placing technical talent.
• Experience managing founders' expectations.
• Ability to work remotely and own searches.
• Proficient in proactive headhunting/outbound sourcing.

Senior Freelance Startup Recruiter (Pre-Seed to Series C)

What This Role Actually Looks Like

• You manage a range of 3 - 9 startup searches in parallel.
• You own sourcing, outreach, screening, and candidate management.
• You provide structured weekly updates and drive momentum.
• You operate independently, but within a proven, plug-and-play process.
• You work remotely, in your time zone.
• You enjoy a full recruiting tech stack including ATS, AI sourcing tools...
• You enjoy a collaborative, agile environment.

Placement Earnings

Earn smarter than traditional agency models.

• Up to $12,000 USD per successful placement

Who You Are

You are not entry-level. You are not learning recruiting.

• 3+ years recruiting inside startup environments (pre-seed to Series C strongly preferred)
• A commitment to bring every project over the finish line - failure is not an option
• Experience placing technical talent
• Confidence managing founders expectations
• A preference for headhunting and outbound sourcing expertise
• A passion for the latest and greatest recruiting tools & tricks, e.g. fair use of AI
• Clear, compelling written and verbal communication
• A disciplined approach to CRM/ATS hygiene
• Deep understanding of which channels convert for different roles
• A proactive, ownership mindset
