Qualifications

• Native Spanish speaker with full professional level of English
• Degree or strong background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or related field
• Hands-on experience with data annotation, transcription, and labeling tools
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medically oriented datasets for machine learning purposes
• Perform Spanish audio transcriptions and align audio with text
• Implement text patterns to detect and extract named entities in Spanish
• Contribute to Spanish dictionaries and taxonomies for NLP systems
• Evaluate linguistic quality and accuracy of Spanish text
• Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines and communicate progress
