About The Role

While projects vary, typical tasks include:

• Analyzing and understanding existing code in Javascript and Typescript
• Migrating logic to idiomatic, safe Typescript while preserving functionality
• Adapting or porting test suites and ensuring behavioral equivalence
• Documenting migration steps and technical decisions
• Contributing to various project types such as:
• Functional coding (building new features from requirements)
• Refactoring and maintainability improvements
• Repository-level/complex projects (multi-module, multi-repository codebases)
• Data/task pipelines and automation
• Frontend, backend, or full-stack development

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related fields
• At least 3 years of professional experience with TypeScript
• Solid understanding of systems programming (memory management, concurrency)
• Prompt engineering experience is a strong plus
• Advanced English skills (C1 or above)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including experience in migration and refactoring of large JavaScript codebases to TypeScript
• Experience with core TypeScript tooling (e.g., ESLint, Webpack, Jest/Cypress)
• Familiarity with web frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js/NestJS)
• Ability to design, review, and optimize features involving LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot)
• Prompt engineering and AI-generated code validation experience is advantageous
• Participation in QA or review pipelines for LLM-generated software/data
• Willingness to learn new methods, adapt quickly, and work with complex guidelines
• This is a fully remote freelance role; you need a laptop, internet, time, and enthusiasm.
