Who we are looking for:

VML is looking for a collaborative and curious Senior Project Manager – Freelance to join our project management team. Reporting to the Senior Program Director, you will work with a multi-discipline team across a variety of integrated projects and campaign launches.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing an integrated marketing project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action, a scope of work and will adhere to a fixed timeline, budget and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience interfacing with Creative, Strategy, Technology, Client Services and other Project Management professionals and must be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee completion of complete project life cycle
• Develop plan of action including scheduling, resource management and work plan
• Assist with managing a SOW
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans
• Manage work and inputs from a variety of stakeholders
• Integrated Campaign Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing complex, integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and delivery. This includes understanding the interplay between various channels and disciplines.
• Traditional Brand Creative Production: (e.g., TV/Video, Print, OOH, Radio – from concept to final asset delivery).
• Creative Workflow Understanding: Deep understanding of the creative development process, from brief to final asset delivery, and the ability to effectively manage creative teams and expectations.
• Jira Expertise: Strong background and hands‑on experience with Jira (or similar enterprise‑level project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, Wrike) for task management, workflow automation, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields
• Experience working within a Creative Advertising or Marketing Agency
• Demonstrated ability to deliver and launch a completed integrated project
• Experience working with a team
