Outpost is seeking a Freelance Senior Animator to bring primary and secondary characters and elements to life for high-end episodic projects and feature films. You will create expressive performances and maintain consistency with the project style across shots.

You will participate in dailies, offer and receive constructive feedback, troubleshoot technical challenges, and collaborate with lighting and rigging teams to ensure seamless animation within a tight production pipeline.

Formación

• Proficient in Maya for high-end episodic/film animation.
• Strong understanding of core animation principles and shot composition.
• Experience animating characters, vehicles, props, creatures, and cameras.
• Extensive experience on High End Film / Episodic TV VFX projects.
• Good understanding of a CG Pipeline.

Responsabilidades

• Animate both primary and secondary characters and elements for high-end episodic projects and feature films.
• Participate in dailies sessions, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Analyse and troubleshoot animation-related technical challenges and ensure quality across shots.

The role

As a Freelance Senior Animator you will be responsible for animating both primary and secondary characters and elements, working efficiently to complete assigned shots to an excellent quality for high end episodic projects and feature films.

You will participate in dailies sessions, offering and receiving constructive feedback, and using your ability to analyse and troubleshoot to solve animation related technical challenges.

Key Skills

• Strong Knowledge of Maya
• Thorough understanding of the core animation principles and shot composition.
• Experience in animating characters, vehicles, props, creatures, and cameras.
• High levelof experience working on High End Film / Episodic TV VFX.
• Good understanding of a CG Pipeline
